The latest patch for Slay the Spire 2 introduces the previous set of beta changes to the main branch of the game (so say goodbye to Doormaker), alongside some key fixes and big feature additions. Here’s everything it brought along to bear.

Slay the Spire 2 v0.107.1 Main Branch Patch Notes – Key Insights

Content Changes

RNG seeding fix – it turns out there was a critical issue in the way the Slay the Spire 2 run seeds were propagated, which led to otherwise unrelated elements correlating to each other in the game, like the potential Curses you could get from Neow’s Bones depending on your specific run seed. This has now been fixed and removed.

Steam Workshop launch – Slay the Spire 2 already had mod support via its mod loader, but now the devs have also integrated Steam Workshop support to make the process significantly smoother for everyone involved now that the game is further along in development. You can check out the game’s Steam Workshop page by clicking on the link.

The Bestiary added – First spotted in the v0.105.0 patch, the Bestiary lets you check all the enemies and monsters you encounter in the game. The original game didn’t include a Bestiary in its compendium, but a modded addition was extremely popular, so it is no surprise to see it here.  it makes sense for Mega Crit to develop an integrated edition for the sequel. It is still marked as “Under Construction,” with each entry saying “Information about this monster is yet to be revealed.”

The Doormaker removed – The controversial boss was clearly on the way out as evidenced by previous beta patches, which have already introduced its replacement. Though players of the beta patch are no doubt already familiar with the foe, the bulk of the Slay the Spire 2 community will now encounter the new boss called Aeonglass for the first time. The Infested Prism Elite has also been reworked.
