Slay the Spire 2’s May 22 beta patch, denoted v0.106.0, and next day's v0.106.1 hotfix, brought along another round of card buffs and nerfs for the game's experimental track alongside changes to various Elites and the new Aeonglass boss.

Card Changes
Ironclad
- Drum of Battle's Energy gain on Exhaust now gets the extra application from Replay and duplication effects
- Howl from Beyond's trigger is now moved to the end of the turn rather than the start
- Entrench can now gain extra Block from enchantments
- Unrelenting damage buff: 12(18) to 14(20)
Silent
- Follow Through has been reworked and renamed to Scare:
- Rarity changed from Common to Uncommon
- Predator's rarity changed from Uncommon to Common
- Pounce damage buff: 12(18) -> 14(20)
Regent
- Furnace buff: Forge 4(6) -> 5(7)
- Minion Sacrifice nerf: Block 9(12) -> 8(11)
- The Sealed Throne change: upgrade now changes the card to 0 Energy rather than applying Innate
- Astral Pulse change: now deals lower damage but split in two (14(18) -> 6x2(8x2))
Defect
- Synthesis damage buff: 12(18) -> 14(20)
- Shatter damage nerf: 11(15) -> 7(11)
- Fusion change: now always costs 1 Energy and the card upgrade removes Exhaust
Necrobinder
- Death March additional damage buff: 3(4) -> 4(6)
- Debilitate debuff nerf: 3(4) turns -> 2(3) turns
Colorless Cards
- Fasten additional Block nerf: 5(7) -> 4(6)
Relic Changes
Mummified Hand buff: now randomly chooses cards in a way that's more favorable to the player- Priority 1: cards that currently cost 1+ AND with a base cost of 1+ before any current cost modifications
- Priority 2: cards that currently cost 1+ regardless of base cost
- Priority 3: cards with a base cost of 1+ that have been temporarily modified to cost 0
- If none apply, a completely random card in hand is chosen
Enemy and Boss Changes
- Infested Prism Elite reworked
- Aeonglass changed
- Adjusted moveset
- Reworked Wither status and Withering Presence power
- Haunted Ship changed (again):
- Ramming Speed move removed, now alternates between Swipe and Stomp instead (always starting with Swipe after Haunt)
- Previous patch change to the same enemy: now applies 3 Weak on Turn 1 instead of applying Weak when it attacks
- Skulking Colony changed:
- HP increased from 70(75) -> 75(80)
- Hardened Shell power increased from 15 -> 20
- Smash removed, now uses Zoom turns 1 and 2 instead
- No longer gains Block
What was changed in the v0.106.1 hotfix?
- Updated translations for various languages
- The player can no longer upgrade Wither status cards
- Wither status cards will no longer stick around in hand if they have Retain from something like

"Aeonglass previously allowed decks with broken draw engines to sidestep the card play restriction, but now it pressures you to end the fight, which I think is going to be very healthy for the game. Fasten and Shatter got the nerfs they deserved, and are probably still amazing. Synthesis received a good buff but I still wish there were better reasons to draft it. Infected Prism now actually demands some consideration when drafting, which is cool."
