Mega Crit continues to listen: the latest beta patch for Slay the Spire 2 reverted many of the previous update's contentious balance changes. The 0.110.0 edition also introduced a keyboard-only control scheme and greatly reworked the Silent’s Poison toolkit. On the fidelity side, characters now have unique VFX for their forms.

Slay the Spire 2 v0.110.0 Beta Branch Patch Notes – Key Insights
Content Changes
Keyboard-only mode – Mega Crit has added full keyboard-only support, renaming from "Full Keyboard" to "Keyboard-Only" in the settings. It comes with a "Listening For Input" popup, a clearer indication of whether Steam Input is active, and gray hyphens rendered for missing bindings.
Multiple v.0109.0 reversions – The changes to

Mirage and Pillar Of Creation have both been rolled back, with additional small adjustments made: Mirage no longer Exhausts, while Pillar Of Creation's Block drops from 3(4) to 2(3). Vakuu's Fiddle has also had its card draw reverted from 3 to 2, one patch after the buff that made it a standout – as Absey32 explained in our previous patch post article, it may have been underperforming globally, but the buff made it “straight busted.” The

Well-Laid Plans nerf rounds out this particular list.
Silent's Poison package rework –

Haze,

Outbreak and [[Mirage were all jigged around - more details below.

The largest impact is the new
Toasty Mittens. I like new ways to exhaust down that don't let you just sit around with a small loop of defensive cards. Great on the reshuffle against Aeonglass too. The weaker Ancient relics at large are getting their power smoothed out lately, so expect more consistency. Care is being put into Silent's Poison package. I like the new

Outbreak dynamic design as AoE, a finishing move, and a scaler. It's awkward to get into play, so I'll have to see how often I have the energy or HP to spare. Don't sleep on the QoL changes! The new map screenshot feature is a personal dream come true for discussing runs with the community. I'm glad to see a new keyboard-only mode too.
