Bodyguard is often comparable to a Defend, but has a lot of small interactions with Osty to look out for. For example, you can sacrifice Osty with another card, then play Bodyguard to resummon him to play more Osty attacks on the same turn. Also keep in mind that you can effectively use this to store up "Block" for later turns. Which damage is blocked by Osty and which isn't is a bit complex and finnicky. For example: Osty won't block burns from hurting you at end of turn.
