In a hand of 1-Cost cards Borrowed Time already lets you play one extra card this turn, but it's at its best with X-Cost cards (which don't have their cost effected by it at all!) or higher cost cards and their synergies (it makes all 1-Costs 2-Costs instead, for cards which care about that!). Tons of energy, good upgrade, and doesn't have exhaust, so can be used multiple times in some fights.
