

Quite a lot of damage to add to a Blade Dance in Act 1; instead of playing every Shiv in one turn you can play one per turn and deal 39 with them instead of 12. Phantom Blades is a little limited in terms of lategame scaling, but can help you survive long enough to find more exciting cards. It's fine to take this card and then move away from Shivs as a damage source as the run moves on.

Retaining your shivs lets you benefit more from the bonus damage on first Shiv, but you can also use this to line up big turns with attack relics or with Finisher.
