Can be enough Block to survive the entire game almost by itself, especially if you find any extra synergies for it, like Replay for a Defend, or a way to double your Block output. That said, Fasten often falls off in power as the run goes on, and it's awkward to take it even early on if you've already removed a Defend via an Event or Neow bonus.
