

I wouldn't say Secret Technique was "situational", because it's basically always good. However, in every different situation, it does something different, so it's hard to summarize it as a card. Maybe "versatile" is the right word. If you can get one for cheap it'll be nice to have, but it's not so powerful that many decks want to spend a lot of gold buying it.

Find a block card on a crucial turn or get some debuffs set up for later in the fight. Especially helpful if you have any per-card effects in play.
