There are so many enemies who attack multiple times per turn in this game, and they all take loads of damage from Caltrops. A good damage option in any deck capable of blocking for a few turns.
A very nice source of passive damage for decks that can block well. You will still want other sources of damage to use against enemies that don't attack often.
