4 Star Cost makes it quite tricky for this card to be played unless you're generating good Stars, but Sovereign Blade doesn't have many favorable interactions with Star generation, so it ends up being an awkward card to fit into a deck.
Although this is very expensive, the added sword damage is massive. Well worth it if you have Stars to spend and any Forge support cards.
