

Very slow and low output card. For example, Flash of Steel is able to deal 5 damage and draw you a card this turn as an Uncommon Colorless card. Dealing less damage and not drawing another card (which happens to be itself) until next turn is much worse. Over a very long fight you'll sometimes be able to get good output from this, but there are much more exciting ways to get scaling output in the game.

3 damage per turn that you only have to draw once. This just isn't enough damage to be worth buying unless you have Strength or a relic that activates when playing attacks.
