Your most basic damage tool. Not desirable for long, but you can't get out of the early game without these.

Ironclad Strikes have a few things going for them:
1) They make Perfected Strike hit harder.
2) They hit more when the enemy is vulnerable, which Bash in the starter deck can provide.
3) They scale off Strength, which Ironclad has plenty of.
4) They don't stop Pillage from drawing, whereas Defend does.
I tend to remove Strike and Defend about equally often on Ironclad, depending on the situation. I'd love to end the run with none of either, but that doesn't always happen, of course.
