Upgrading a card at a Rest Site is no longer the only way to permanently alter your deck.
The introduction of Enchantments adds a completely new, high-stakes layer to card evaluation.
These rare modifiers attach directly to your cards, offering massive power spikes, such as drastic damage increases or reduced energy costs, but they almost always demand a punishing trade-off in return.
For example, an Enchantment might boost an attack's damage by 50%, but actively drain your HP every time it is played.
A heavily enchanted card can easily become the primary win condition of your run, provided you draft the necessary healing, block, or synergies to survive the inherent penalties of actually playing it.
