In Slay the Spire 1, Strength scaling was a central synergy space for Ironclad. Cards could double your Strength, heal you for how much damage you dealt, or gain additional damage per Strength gained. Inflame was a nice early pickup because it helped you get your deck's values a little higher at the start of the game, and opened up potential for big synergies later.
