Solid damage. My most successful Defect decks tend to use Frost orbs quite a lot, which means they could use a way to turn full orb slots into actually ending the fight, and Barrage is a good way to achieve that.
Surprisingly high damage with 3 filled orb slots. With bonus orb slots from Capacitor this can be a damage solution for the end game.
