

Can be good for Boss-fight damage or some Elites, but waiting multiple turns for your damage and then still needing to line it up with a Dualcast or Multicast to get really good value out of it is very awkward. I'm hoping not to have to use Dark Orbs in my runs, but if I do it'd be because my deck's damage was too low going into a long fight.

Very high damage output for 1 energy, but the catch is that you must Evoke the orb for the payoff. Works extremely well with multiple Evokes from Dualcast, Multicast, or Quadcast. Remember that Dark always targets the enemy with the least HP.
