Ironclad has some ways to make massive amounts of energy, like Bloodletting+, Expect a Fight, Forgotten Ritual, and Offering. Sometimes Relics might provide a lot as well. Cascade is an awesome way to spend that energy. One way that Cascade is interesting to me is that it rewards you for putting high-impact cards in your deck, while punishing you for putting cards like Anger into it. Ironclad in Slay 2 seems to want to avoid the lower-cost lower-output cards in favor of big cards like Bludgeon, and cards like Cascade and Stampede are a huge part of why.
