Bludgeon is an okay card without support. Dealing 32 or 42 damage for 3 energy is okay on turns where you're not being attacked. Not great, but okay. Where Bludgeon gets out of control is when it's combined with support, and Slay the Spire 2 has a couple of very easy ways to break it: Stampede and Thrash. There are some other cute things to do with it with f.x. Headbutt + Havoc as well. Probably worth taking early on because of how likely it is you can support it with other cards.
