This is a very complicated event to get right. One way to approach it is just to take whatever seems most fun to you; nothing wrong with that! When you choose "Obtain 3 ____ cards" you'll be offered three card rewards, one with three commons, one with three uncommons, and one with three rares. If you're going to try to work out the best option, here are some things I think about: RED: Ironclad has access to some targeted exhaust cards, which can be great on characters lacking that ability. Offering and Feed are two very powerful rares to consider as well. GREEN: Shiv cards exhaust, which means they cause Feel No Pain and Dark Embrace to activate. This is one of the dream combos from all the way back in Slay the Spire 1. Nightmare can do some very goofy things in the right deck, check if you have a card that would be broken if you duplicated it three times in a fight. Adrenaline, Calculated Gamble, and Well-Laid Plans are a few examples of very strong Silent cards. ORANGE: Regent feels tough to argue for to me, as many of his best cards have Star costs which you're unlikely to be able to pay on another character. That said, Void Form is a tremendously powerful Rare Power which can help the right deck win the run. PINK: Necrobinder has access to a lot of card draw via her Soul mechanic, but you're unlikely to get much use out of her Osty attacks (since you won't have Osty unless you also find a summon card). Neurosurge is a very powerful Rare, and she has access to some great "exhaust" via effects like transforming your other cards to Souls. BLUE: If you play an orb card as a non-Defect character you'll get one orb slot. That means (for example) Glacier would block for 11 and leave a Frost orb in play (the other Frost orb gets evoked for 5 block immediately). Echo Form is a very powerful Rare, and All For One is a card which might be unexpectedly good in your deck, depending on what you're doing.
