In some Decks which are particularly good at Blocking, or particularly good at finding The Gambit over and over again, the downside on this card is imaginary. If you can block for 50 for 0 Energy there aren't many reasons you should ever take unblocked attack damage, after all. That said, in less consistent decks it is a real downside, so getting to use The Gambit is more of an occasional treat in a very strong run than a common occurrence.
