Black Hole is a great way for many of Regent's more "fair" decks to deal damage in a more unfair way. Adding area of effect damage to miscellaneous Commons and Uncommons can be a nice way to bridge the gap in Strength requirement between Act 1 and Act 2.
Only deals damage once regardless of how many stars you get or spend, so this is better with a large number of cards with a low star cost such as Cloak of Stars.
