Good way to get enough Block in a deck which can regularly play its Sovereign Blade, but unpickable outside of that situation. Even decks which scale their Blade up in order to play it once don't like this card very much.
Not as useful as you might think - you are generally not playing Sovereign Blade multiple times per fight. Still, the block value is high enough that this can be crucial in the right deck.
