Defect's best Area of Effect damage card, and a nice enabler for strategies using Dark Orbs which don't have much ability to evoke them quickly. I'm probably not taking this card in Act 2 or 3, but it's good enough to make it into my deck in Act 1, and sometimes has use later on as well.
