Decent enough Block per Energy, and Exhausting cards is upside. Enables Howl From Beyond, protects you from statuses, whittles the chaff from your deck over longer fights... There are lots of reasons to love having a True Grit, especially if you can upgrade it.
Solid block for the early game that synergizes well with block effects and Exhaust triggers. Add a Feel No Pain or Dark Embrace later to make the most of this.
