Alignment doesn't usually have much purpose in Regent's card pool unless you're using it for an infinite or massive X-cost card. You typically have to spend energy to generate Stars, if you're just using them to create energy again you start getting Rube Goldberg-y and failing to actually output anything that wins fights.
Very powerful energy gen as long as you have stars to spend. Best used alongside big spenders like Heavenly Drill or Prophesize.
