It's not hard at all to put together a 30 Damage Sovereign Blade, at which point Conqueror is dealing 36 Damage for 1. One of the cards I look out for to make a Sovereign Blade a reliable enough source of damage for the Act 1 Boss fight, and can get silly later in the run.
This provides very little Forge, so you're taking this for the turn of doubled blade damage. Extremely strong if you can scale the Blade's damage with other cards. Multiple applications increase the duration of the effect.
